My name is known here as Love, Grampy. I’m also known as Reverend Doctor David McQueen. My passion is expressing God’s love to all people and pointing hearts back to Him through His Word.
This space is my way of opening the Bible, sharing a verse, and reminding you that you are seen, known, and loved by God.
My Story
I didn’t set out to build a website. I simply had a growing desire to share the scriptures that God was using to shape my own heart. I am a Minister and hold a doctorate in Organizational Leadership which I used in my over 35 years of public school administration. I am hoping to pass on wisdom from the Lord and my experience in life.
Over time, I realized that the same verses that encouraged me might also encourage someone else—someone walking through worry, loss, change, or just the everyday pressures of life.
The name “Grampy” is special to me. It’s a reminder to approach life with gentleness, patience, and the kind of love that isn’t in a hurry. My oldest granddaughter called my “Grampy” and it’s stuck. My hope is that when you visit this site, you feel that kind of steady, faithful love from the Father.
Why Daily Scriptures?
We are constantly surrounded by noise—news, opinions, and distractions. Daily scripture is a way of turning down the volume of the world and turning up the voice of God.
By pausing each day with a verse, we make room for the Holy Spirit to remind us of what is true: God is good, He is near, and His Word still speaks to us today.
