Mark 12:30-31 NKJV
[30] And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ This is the first commandment. [31] And the second, like it, is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.”
Jesus taught us the most important people to love: God, yourself, and others. First, put all you have into your love for God. Use your emotions, spirit, and intellect fully to love Him. Secondly, love others the way you love yourself. You can’t love others if you don’t love yourself. Remember that Jesus loves and forgives you, so live yourself through Him. Love all those around you. Loving people like we love ourselves shows them that we have God’s love. These two commandments are the highest priority in God’s kingdom. We need to focus on Jesus, our love for Him, and love others today and always.
