Exodus 1:6-7 NKJV

[6] And Joseph died, all his brothers, and all that generation. [7] But the children of Israel were fruitful and increased abundantly, multiplied and grew exceedingly mighty; and the land was filled with them.

There comes a time when a new generation takes over.  Even though Joseph had been in charge of everything for Pharaoh, Joseph and his generation were now gone.  Begin to look at the new task that the generation you are in must deal with.  Each generation must listen to God and deal with  what must be achieved for that generation or time.  You can’t live in the past.  You must move forward and follow Jesus. forge a new generational purpose led by new leaders from God.  Move into what the Lord has for this generation so that you can be fruitful, grow abundantly, and mighty where the Lord has placed you.
